About The Show

Professional, friendly and festive, it is a unique event of its kind in Benelux with exhibitions, conferences and hands-on workshops presenting the latest in camera and lighting for motion pictures and broadcast. A friendly gathering of manufacturers, users, students and movie professionals. The place where major manufacturers meet. Presentation by product specialists of new equipment, new technologies, new procedures, some for the first time in Belgium.

18:00: New Technologies in film making and eco responsibility, a joint workshop by Screen Brussels and the VAF
(New technologies should be used as soon as possible to reduce the ecological footprint of film and TV productions. Screen Brussels and the VAF developed tools to help the producers to become more eco-responsible. We need to inform the audiovisual players about the environmental sustainability issues of film making. During this workshop, Sophie and Tim will share their experiences through different study cases and talk about the following topics: What does sustainability mean in the audiovisual sector? What should be the role of service and rental companies? Which are the tools from Screen Brussels and the VAF?)
